This exhibition marks ten years of fruitful activity at the Koresh Gallery 14, which takes place inside a residential building in Jerusalem.

​

This exhibition gives a glimpse into the extensive work that took place in the Koresh 14 space through the works and the variety of materials that accumulated and accompanied us. This exhibition can be seen as a kind of summary and introduction to the beginning of a new decade.

​

The project arose out of a quest to create high art and culture within living housing: the Koresh 14 residential complex and turn it into an important art center in Jerusalem that combines canonical art with young and international art, while addressing the urban public space of the building and its residents. The center focuses on creating innovative and inspiring projects in the field of contemporary art and culture and wants to provide a ground for improving the quality of life and serve as a model for other residential buildings.

In 2009, the "Koresh ​—​ Association for the Advancement of Art, Culture and Ecology" was established in order to enable the Koresh Project to operate and succeed in furthering its goals.

​

The exhibition will feature works by artists who worked and moved in Koresh 14, and in addition to the works of art, archival materials collected over the years will be displayed. Products of collaborations and joint works made as part of workshops, studios and art meetings.
