"I do not want a beautiful exhibition, I want to bring my critique of life and its bluntness. Clean storefronts are in my eyes a disguise of beauty in the face of the decay and squalor of the street."

 

The body of work to be displayed in the exhibition is created from materials collected while wandering in Berlin, life here versus life there. For a long time she moved from her permanent place to another space where she is a stranger and anonymous to a place where there is no recognition of her status, way of life and identity.

The process of her creation, like flowing water, changes its face endlessly and leaves the viewer in search of an answer that will give validity to the feelings he is experiencing.

In all works there is no compassion only laws and outward order there is a ticklish aesthetic world that deceives the viewer to approach and then feel the evil and violence in human existence.

For an Israeli licorice to create it to write. Every detail is a word, every detail has an intention and a message. Shosh Yisraeli is an exceptional artist in the local landscape. Her works touch, examine and renew constantly. Her works present sensitive weaves of materials, combinations of techniques and different artistic languages. Through the works one can feel her incessant dialogue with herself and with questions concerning identity and contemporary artistic perception.
